ok so last night i had a dream where the band was in this lab and we were all in this experiment where we had to sign a contract because it was test trials. The people that went were some of drumline (elijah rj byrd), me, you, kalynn, jelaya, donna, elizah, and westin. the trial was supposed to see our personalities and identify them. but it was actually way worse then that… elijah went first and they took him to this room where they attached wires all over his body and they basically sucked out all his memories, personalities, etc and he wasn’t the person he was before. but he was in excruciating pain so you could hear his screams from down the hall into our bedroom waiting room because bro was literally getting the life sucked out of him. so when he came back he was literally nothing and everyone got scared and tried to fight and escape but the guards rounded everyone up and tied them up so they wouldn’t escape. the next person to go was Jelaya and she was screaming and crying and begging. so when they took her to the room, everyone else started to pray for her because they know she was gonna be in the worst pain imaginable. her screams was filling up the building. kalynn ended finding a way to escape and the whole unit of guards went after her. she went neighbor hood after neighborhood and they still chased her. then she ended up at a block party where she saw alexa and melany and tried to get help but alexa was actually working for the lab and held her hostage until the unit came and got kalynn. when the came back to the lab, they had brought her into the room where they take out ur personality. donna was already in there, hooked up to the machine and screaming in pain. she opened her eyes for a second and saw kalynn, and slowly looked up at the top where the wires are held (she was signaling to kalynn about how to escape the pain. wfter donna was done, they threw in kalynn next and turned up the settings on the machine so she’ll be in the most pain possible, like 300/10 type of pain. when she got in, kalynn started to pull the wires out the ceiling and the guards had to restrain her again. but the machine was practically broken and they couldn’t do it properly, so they just hooked her up to the last 2 remaining wires out of 20 and attempted to suck her soul out. kalynn didn’t really feel any pain, just a slight buzz like when you get static shocked over and over again to the point where it was getting annoying. they realized it didn’t work and let her go back into the room. when she got back into the room, the remaining people where cheering for her and everything. then the unit came in and shot the remaining people in the head so they don’t leave and snitch. Elijah, Donna, and Jelaya didn’t get shot bc they were successful expirments and got taken to a different room for more testing. Kalynn, who hid from the gunfire under a couch, watched a lifeless Donna walk to to the door and leave, leaving kalynn alone in the darkness and the dead bodies around her.
This dream is quite vivid and layered with symbolism. Dreams about being in an experiment or a lab often reflect feelings of vulnerability, loss of control, or being subjected to external pressures—especially those related to identity and individuality. Here's a breakdown of possible interpretations:
Experimentation and Identity: The lab setting and the contract signify a feeling of being controlled or manipulated in some aspect of your life. This might relate to personal relationships, societal expectations, or even self-expectations. You may feel like you're being tested or judged based on your personality or behavior.
Fear of Loss: The process in which memories and personality traits are "sucked out" can indicate a fear of losing touch with your true self or your past experiences. Witnessing others suffer similar fates in the dream can reflect anxieties about losing people close to you or seeing them change in ways that distress you.
Empathy and Concern for Others: Your concern for friends (Elijah, Jelaya, Kalynn, and Donna) highlights your empathy and protective instincts. This could suggest that you feel responsible for the well-being of those in your life or that you're worried about the impact of external pressures on them.
Escape and Survival: Kalynn's escape attempt signifies a desire for freedom from oppressive situations. Her struggle and the group's eventual capture could symbolize your concerns about being unable to escape hardships or negative influences in your life.
Powerlessness Against Authority: The guards symbolize authority figures or societal norms that restrict individualism and enforce conformity. Their actions can represent your feelings of being overpowered or silenced, especially regarding personal choices and authenticity.
Isolation and Loneliness: The ending suggests feelings of isolation, where you are left with bodies around you—this might reflect underlying fears of abandonment or the sense that even in a crowded environment, you feel alone in your struggles.
Coping Mechanism: Finally, the buzz of slight discomfort that Kalynn feels instead of overwhelming pain suggests that there might be ways you are coping with the struggles around you—perhaps finding moments of resilience in painful situations.
Overall, this dream may reveal deep-seated anxieties about identity, relationships, and external pressures. It could be useful to reflect on any real-life situations that resonate with these themes, allowing you to address them more consciously in your waking life.
